Senior Scrum Master — Agile Delivery & Team Enablement – June 2025

We are looking for an experienced Senior Scrum Master to coach and lead agile teams in a complex, transversal financial services environment. The mission focuses on maximising agile maturity, protecting delivery teams from external noise, and creating sustainable value by embedding agile ways of working.

You will operate at the heart of key delivery teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, coaching team members, and aligning stakeholders around product vision and delivery cadence. You will actively contribute to shaping self-organised, value-driven teams in line with the organisation’s IT strategy and agile framework.

This role is suited for senior profiles with a strong grasp of the servant leader mindset, capable of creating an environment of trust, learning, and performance.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and coach Scrum ceremonies: Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives
  • Guide the team on the optimal use of agile methods and promote agile values across the organisation
  • Assist the Product Owner in managing the Product Backlog and defining value-driven priorities
  • Coach the team toward self-organisation and continuous improvement
  • Identify and remove impediments to delivery, and protect the team from external distractions
  • Track and communicate velocity, capacity, risks, and issues for planning and progress monitoring
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, trust, and psychological safety
  • Promote agile mindset among stakeholders and management
  • Provide transparency and reporting on agile adoption and Scrum framework maturity

Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as Scrum Master in cross-functional agile teams
  • Expert knowledge of Scrum and complementary agile techniques (e.g. Kanban)
  • Strong understanding of agile reporting tools (e.g. Jira), test automation, and software development lifecycle
  • Sound knowledge of project management frameworks and governance
  • Proven track record of driving agile transformation or coaching agile teams in large organisations
  • Ability to coach and align multi-disciplinary teams (analysis, development, testing)
  • Excellent facilitation and coaching skills; promotes transparency, ownership, and collaboration

Language Requirements

  • Fluent in Dutch, French and English
